Dance Alive Specialist - Remedial Dance Educator Dance Alive Specialist
Remedial Dance Educator

A further training course at the Langen Institute

Dance Alive is the remedial educational form of Creative Dance. Its development was crucially determined by Professor Juliana Lau, who held the chair of Dance Therapy at the York University in Toronto, Canada, for many years.

Through its holistic approach to dance and movement, Dance Alive strengthens the physical, mental, cognitive and social powers of everybody. As a method, Dance Alive supports/furthers people's resources and creativity and thus helps towards a positive attitude to life. This approach constitutes the difference to other methods, which take deficits and/or disorders of participants as their starting points.
